Associate Director, Market Analytics

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company. They have asked us to assist them in their search for an Associate Director, Market Analytics.
Major tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Develops and disseminates analytics approaches to inform strategic/key account analytics.
- Monitors account performance.
- Leads analytics and metric development on pull through.
- Ensures collaboration and alignment between functions.
- Assists in the development and monitoring of metrics for national payers.
- Provides account optimization models and special projects as requested by customers and leadership.
- Actively contributes to the discovery, development, and delivery of company products to patients and customers.
- Develops strategies and tactics to inform and provide recommendations to guide high-level decisions affecting sales model evolution and customer interface to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensures that all relevant information from other functions is integrated into analysis.
- Identifies opportunities and insights for account teams.
- Provides detailed analysis of account data in an effort to optimize performance.
- Remains up-to-date on the competitive product landscape and industry trends related to payer reimbursement.
- Utilizes expertise to determine implications to the company’s product portfolio.
- Understands customer and industry trends as they relate to contracted and potentially-contracted customers.
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree highly preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including field experience, selling experience, and analytical capabilities.
- Requires a minimum of 6 years of project management experience.
- Must have experience working with payer accounts.
- Requires proficiency in data extraction and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, etc.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of familiarity with plan pull through and understanding of the evolving sales model.
- Modeling and Analytics experience required.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity ensuring the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Requires strong collaboration skills and ability to drive projects through multiple layers within the organization.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of the organization with solid verbal, written and presentation skills.
- The ability to travel, including overnight travel, is required.
